The DowntownDC BID unveiled a #BlackLivesMatter outdoor exhibit this week at Gallery Place in downtown D.C. According to their website, the exhibit is part of the DowntownDC BID’s commitment to develop an inclusive and welcoming space for demonstrators and all who live, work and visit downtown D.C. Th BID partnered with the PAINTS Institute, the Denver Smith Foundation and other local artists to beautify downtown. The project is being funded by the DowntownDC BID and its partners.
The 27 mural exhibit showcases artistic expressions in solidarity with the Black Lives Matters movement on downtown D.C. storefronts in Gallery Place (7th St between H and F Streets NW).
